:fab {drive}

Thats a truly beautiful example!

Is this a bad sign that I had already seen that advertised going for auction.. I NEED one of these silly cars in my life!!! When over in France the other weekend I nearly went and asked the farmer at the top of the street who it is that keeps coming to visit him in one... could I buy it and then when I was in a pretty town near our village a garage door was open and there was the unmistakable shape of a tin snail under a tarp {lolz}

S*** I am done for....

Awaiting a flaming and a ban... I think I deserve one :lol:

Back in the late 70's, living in Newcastle, I had a Cortina 1600E which was stolen three times in nine months! First time someone pinched it to get home to Whitley Bay after a night in the Toon. Second time it went from the "Get Carter" multi storey in Gateshead and was found on bricks in Felling. Third time it went for good :( :(

Decided to buy something that no one would want to steal - so bought a Citroen Dyane, the 2CV's uglier sibling!!

I'd love one as well, as you know, Rich. Anyway, if Harris loves 'em and has one, I reckon that's a good endorsement! (Chris, not Rolf... :? )

My Mum had a Diane in the mid-80s, Chris, and she used to say exactly the same thing. I drove it in a car park (I was maybe 15), and got it stuck in first gear - it took about 3 hours to get home :lol: :sigh: .

Even more than a 2CV though, I'd love one of those H vans :)) :fab

{lolz} You won’t get much change out of 20 bags of sand, I reckon.

I’ll have a long wheel-base one please, so I can go live in it in the S of France.

Any wrecks to do up, I wonder...
